Eric Fogg 1903-1939. Has his Dance Fantasy for piano and strings ever been performed.  It is an early work written in 1919.

isn't performance usually part of the Cobbett Prize (which this won, to explain)? Seem to recall something like that... will look further though.

Not sure about the performance being part of the Cobbett prize.  It won and I am wondering why I cannot trace any performances or a recording.  If it was considered so good, why has it slipped into obscurity.  Seems ripe for investigation.
