Sorry, I am quite late but I suppose all of you have already one or two recordings of the piece. ;)

thanks! I have wanted to hear this work for some time (I should still have the Sibley-scanned 4h or 2 piano reduction by the composer somewhere on my computer...)

Eric: do get hold of the reissue on Christophorus if you can. It's pretty cheap.

will see about doing that; I heard the symphony when it was on and thought it quite good. thank you! (I've heard the 1st a few times and the 2nd once, I think- quite pleased if I remember. *goes up to counter and looks for the 4 string quartets ;) *
