Has anyone mentioned Miriam Hyde (1913-2005), Australian composer?

If I recall correctly, and I have to dig that ABC CD off my shelves, her two piano concertos are excellent - in a sort of Rachmaninoff-ian vein and thoroughly romantic.

Funny you should mention that - I, also, own that disc, and I recall that Rachmaninoff was the first composer who came to my mind as well upon first listening.  Great minds, and all...

Try Google shopping old chap. There were 4 available a couple of minutes ago at various dealers.

Now there are 3.

Thanks to good old Unsung Forum for costing me another tenner.

Where can one buy that disc, please?

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation may have it - they did last I checked, and they produced it.  I think mine came from (alas!) Borders.com, but it's been a few years.  All I'm sure of is that it wasn't one of my usual sources.
