Since there has been some discussion of Chadwick today elsewhere on this site I thought I would try a catalogue  You will need to be gentle with me; it is only an attempt and this is not quite my period   Still....it may be of some use to those who would like to know the range of Chadwick's works.

Brilliant - thanks, Colin. Not really my area either, although I've enjoyed everything I've heard by Chadwick (chiefly the Chandos and Reference discs): there is clearly much more to explore and it would be interesting to hear some of the vocal music ... but

I believe some of Chawick's string quartets were available via a voxbox at one time. I never got round to purchasing it whcih is a pity.

Only the "Jubilee" titled movement of the Symphonic Sketches is on a (U.S. audience aimed) entertaining compilation titled "American Jubilee" (Kunzel, Cincinnati, Telarc).
The 4th string quartet (obviously outside the catalogue) was/is in a Vox set (three Lps I have; later two Cds) "The early string quartet in USA)".

I have a 1900 composition titled "Judith" which came to me on cassette as an oratorio, however IMSLP lists it as a lyric drama in three parts for soli, chorus and orchestra.  For whatever that's worth.......

There's also a rather nice Piano Quintet in Eb from 1887 but I guess that's outside this discussion....

My sources certainly indicated that "Judith" was an opera/stage drama in three acts and produced as such
