Well, here it is, folks: more Vieuxtemps.  This time it's the first two concertos with Chloe Hanslip: http://www.hyperion-records.co.uk/dc.asp?dc=D_CDA67878&vw=dc.  Also included is the Greeting to America, Op. 56.  Is that the same as the Souvenir d'Amerique, AKA Yankee Doodle Variations?

Souvenir d'Amerique is about 5 minutes, at least in the La Pieta recording (arranged? Not sure).

But anyway, check out the liner notes: ". Vieuxtemps had in fact dealt with this well-known tune before, in his Souvenir d'Amérique, Variations burlesques sur 'Yankee Doodle', Op 17, but the bravura variations in the present work are not related to that earlier set."
