With 5 symphonies to his name Ole Hjellemo stands out from most of his contemporary colleagues in Norway. Hjellemo taught the violin, harmony and composition at the Conservatory in Oslo for many years. He also served as Lieutenant in the Norwegian army and composed a large body of music for Military bands which gained a certain popularity. But other genres of his output have been neglected. At present I don't know any recordings of his works.
