Dobrzynski's opera 'Monbar'

Whilst trawling through the Merlin website re the Morawski CD, I notice that they are also offering a 3CD set of Dobrzynski's opera 'Monbar' - which in my case will be a must have! It seems though that the adjoining illustration for this release is incorrect, which may have put others off!

Most are probably aware that the overture has been available for some time on CD accord's 19th century Polish Symphonic Collection CD, which has now prompted me to dig out this CD!!

Monbar is production of the Polish Radio. Opera was played (in concert version) in Sep. 2010 as an inauguration of concert season of Polska Orkiestra Radiowa (Polish Radio Orchestra of Warsaw)

Just a 'heads up' that this opera, and indeed I believe the performance referred to by markniew, was broadcast on BBC Radio 3 (and on Euroclassic Notturno throughout Europe) last night. It will be available on the BBC iPlayer for the next 6 days at data rates up to 320kbps aac-lc.
