According to Mike Herman's discography, they were recorded on the album Editura Casa Radio 090, recorded 1998, released 2003. The two study symphony recordings were released in 1996, so they're of course not the same!

So, Eric, are you saying that the version I downloaded from UC (Romanian radio, live concert 7th Sept. 2011) is not a commercial recording? Sorry, but I had difficulty following the argument.....

there've been two recordings- the Editura and the cpo recording. Allmusic claims that the cpo CD was recorded in June 2012. So I'm guessing that by our rules that since the live concert wasn't just a preparatory concert before the studio recording, or suchlike (which as I recall has also been sometimes been ruled inadmissable, I think... not sure... ) - well- I was mistaken, and apologize for the error and for this thread
