Cantatas, orchestral songs?  Perhaps someone can clarify that. As to the film music, I understand that only A Cruz de Ferro from 1965 exists as an independent score?

The Portugese Music Research and Information Centre information is not completely accurate in so far as there are a few confusions with opus numbers(the Sinfonietta, Symphony No.5 and Symphony No.6 are given a variety of different opus numbers or sometimes the same number ). There will therefore still be one or two mistakes in that area but the catalogue is now much more comprehensive
