I have tried to compile a catalogue of van Hoof's orchestral compositions because all six of his symphonies have been recorded by Phaedra and issued on cd. However I have not been able to locate a source for such a catalogue and the list below is sadly therefore incomplete. I only offer it in the hope that someone may be able to augment my efforts.

It seems a recording of the first symphonic suite of 1918 exists on a disc called "Salve Antverpia : romantic symphonic music from Antwerp" released by Discover in 1993 (and lasts about 14 minutes)? (I see the violin concertino (Allegro Energico 8:14 /Lento E Espressivo   4:11   /Vivo-Con Spirito 4:59  )has been recorded (timing from that 1975 recording, according to a website...), but on LP- I wonder about CD... :) )

In 1926 a piano reduction of a work called "Schets voor cello en Orkest" by Hoof was published by de Crans of Antwerp. Don't know what the title means, but I'd add it to the list judging from the description (even if the score and parts are missing :) )

I don't know if you found this CeBeDeM link- I only just did -
http://www.cebedem.be/nl/componisten/h/81-hoof-jef-van (I know their catalogues are incomplete) - but I thought I'd share it having found it just now.

The catalogue to which you refer is particularly inadequate :(

I have the Cd and confirm: the First Symphonic suite (five movements, overall timing 13' 51") is on "Salve Antverpia" Discover 920100 (conductor the ubiquitous-in this repertoire- A. Rahbari, BRT Phil.Orch.).
