kyjo

A very interesting composer. IIRC, he was the first Belgian composer to write serial music. His VC 2 was recorded on a OOP CD called "Belgian Violin School". Just type in "Chevreuille" on US Amazon and you'll find this CD. BTW, read the Amazon review of this CD for a good laugh ;D! It's rather sad, though, that this piece is the only orchestral work of his, out of his large output, that has been commercially recorded :(. I'll have to give the symphonies, available in our downloads, a listen. I know this doesn't relate to his orchestral music, but Chevreuille's Sonatine for clarinet and piano has been recorded on a rather recent (2010) Fuga Libera CD with other 20th century unsung pieces for clarinet and piano. Hope this helps :). Thanks for your hard work as always, Colin ;D!
