BerlinExpat, belated thanks for recording this opera, which I was worried I'd miss out on as I've been away from home for a few days. It sounds splendid. Vintage Massenet!

The sound of nobility!  Something we may never hear again in opera.  Rosenthal's Children is more the style this century.
