What a most delightful music. I cannot imagine anyone who doesn't love to hear it. Warmly recommended.

I've just listened to Spohr's Piano Sonata in A flat major, op. 125 (1843) and then to Rufinatscha's Piano Sonata in F minor, op. 3 (1847) and once again in the same order. What strikes me is the resemblance. Neither the key nor the themes, but the style, in fact the whole atmosphere, as if these works are written by the same composer in the same period. Anybody else recognizes this?
