J. Strauss: Ritter Pasman

Does anyone know, is there a recording of Johann Strauss Jr.'s only opera "Ritter Pasman"? Or any rumours about performances? I have heard only Csardas from it, but I would be intersted to hear the whole opera.

Although not by an Unsung Composer, this opera is most certainly, and literally, Unsung!

I don't believe it has ever been commercially recorded, but there is a reference to a recording at:

There's four, I believe, dance excerpts in the Marco Polo series.

The ballet from the opera has been recorded a few times - most famously by the NatPO, cond. Bonynge, in a Decca 2-LP box with Aschenbrodl - one of my favourites!

Forgot about that. I love that CD set (which also includes the ballet The Beautiful Danube, one of those "Ballet After"s I for one just adore, arranged by someone named Desormiere).
