@Alan
Imagine all those trolls who shouting at me after I had posted a negative review of thic CD at Amazon. Like those perennial Kremlin trolls writing in anti-Puting blogs... So I cancelled my posting.

QuoteThe verismo empress, despite the cover of the CD, has no clothes...
Netrebko without clothes?  Be still, my beating heart!

Since 2009, when I assisted in that Zurich Traviata, Anna has put on quite some Wagnerian weight...
Here's a trailer to the making of the DGG cover:

A pity, she is (was?) such a sympathetic and uncomplicated person to work with. But there is no pardon for her Russian connections and political naiveté... Erwin, her first husband sang in an earlier Zurich Marriage of Figaro production, which I assisted too - he was a great guy, very sexy and had a wonderful and sympathetic voice. He will sing Mefistofele and L'Elisir d'amore in Munich in November and Don Giovanni in Vienna neyt year.
My critical review was posted on Amazon Germany; I never thought I would get such aggressive reactions...
And here's a very appropriate review for German readers:

What about Berio's completion of Act 3? As far as I know, it's only been recorded twice, once on DVD under Gergiev and once on CD under Chailly, as here:
