For those that still love the standard repertoire but abhore the routine performances too often preserved on CD, here's a release to refresh even the most jaded palate. This Dvorak 9 conducted by Sylvain Cambreling is quite simply the most exciting, most beautiful, most unhackneyed account I've ever heard:
