New Chandos forum

Chandos have just launched a new, greatly-improved forum at:

I would encourage members to join in order to lobby for their favourite 'unsung' composers - I've already plugged York Bowen, Mackenzie, Cowen, Holbrooke and Potter and got a very positive response for Bowen!

Yes, Chandos had already flagged up the recording of Bowen 1 & 2 - and so it's good to have their plan confirmed.

Thanks for the heads-up, though. I'll keep my eye on their forum.

Oh good! Very impressive & democratic of them. I've been posting requests about various 'unsung composers' on there since it opened,including Holbrooke! I,must admit, I thought something was afoot as I posted something recently,about an unsung composer. First of all the forum disappeared and I couldn't log in,then it came back and I could't find my post even though it was listed. I thought,do they actually dislike my suggestion, THAT much?!
