Gounod from Opera Rara

Coming from Opera Rara in 2015: Gounod's comic opera La Colombe, with Miah Persson, Christopher Purves, Allan Clayton and Kathryn Rudge.  Sir Mark Elder conducts the Halle Orchestra.

Add that to the forthcoming recording of Donizetti's Les Martyrs and the future looks good for this valuable label.

When can we expect recordings of Cinq-Mars and Le Tribut de Zamora?

All his other operas have received good recordings including the incomplete Maitre-Pierre.

Well, the Martyrs live concert is in Dec. 2014, so I assume it will be set down then and released the next year, 2015.  La Colombe was described in the January issue of BBC Music as coming "next year."  Technically that would mean 2015, but perhaps the item was written in 2013 and carelessly edited.  So only Opera Rara really knows, and I understand that they now raise funds for each project more or less individually, so maybe no date is set in stone until the money is in place...
