I hope I might be forgiven for mentioning this set of (mostly) "sung" pieces, but I have just downloaded the complete Reiner/CSO RCA recordings-63 discs in CD-quality sound-for €49,39!  What a bargain!

Yes - an astounding bargain. As are the TWO sets of Living Stereo cds for ridiculously low prices. And all of those bargain boxed sets coming from Sony/RCA and Decca. THink of shelf space I could have saved. I picked up all the Reiner recordings individually - probably cost 10 times what that one set does. Oh well... and there are some unsung works in those sets. The new Decca set with Ansermet doing Russian music has some wonderful unsung works: Balakirev's Thamar, some Liadov, Borodin.
