ah good. I've seen (in score-and-or-parts, but not heard) his first string quartet and a piano quintet, am aware of the cello sonata (which I think may have been recorded already (ah. no, it hasn't, it seems. But his flute sonata Op.61 has, twice. ... Erm... sleepy here, obviously. Sorry.)) Anyhow. Looking forward to, likewise the prospect of future volumes of chamber music by him (I doubt anyone's going to fund a recording of his symphonies (starting with Op.18 in A minor) but if piano duet scores of them exist then, as with Sgambati's first which was likewise first recorded as duet, I'll take that for now too...)

Richard Stohr's Symphony #1 in Am  ( 1907) is available on You Tube.

Very Brucknerian to my ears.

He had an impressive list of students including namy famous conductors and Marlene Dietrich!
