Godard seems to be enjoying a modest revival on disc at present, the latest manifestation of which is this new CD from Piano Classics, of two Barcarolles, three Scènes italiennes and twenty other Pieces for Piano Op.58. The pianist is Alessandro Deljavan. I'm particularly looking forward to the 4 minutes 23 seconds of "Dig, ding, don!".

Yes, looking forward to this one. I recently played his Mazurka op103-4 and it went down a storm. Apparently I have to learn some more Godard now.

Godard's solo piano music is very beautiful; far above "salon music" and pre-figures Faure harmonically. Philip Martin recorded a cd , too, on Marco Polo:)

Laurent Martin, not Phillip Martin.
