Hi everybody  8)

There is already a second review of "my" Scherber CD on MusicWeb, what an honour!
http://www.musicweb-international.com/classrev/2018/Feb/Scherber_sy_CDS11132.htm

As far as the reviewer's judgement of the Symphony is concerned, I just wonder whether you agree... In my opinion he has not understood what the composer meant. Of course, if Bruckner's orchestral palette and style have been re-used by another composer (and this in the 20 Century!), a closer analysis should be done to explain/understand/justify.
And that was the first review:

...looking forward to hearing my copy.

I heard a score that was like Bruckner but wasn't. Scherber put his own style and feeling to this wonderful work. One must listen several times to it but his feeling of trying to write about 'the earth opening up and forces emerging from within' A powerful work which shouldn't be ignored.
