Dear eternalorphea

Thank You for share your research, I will listen the pieces, surely there are very interesting things,

What is your favorite slovenian composer? Whom is most forgotten of them?

Thank you from me, too. I like good piano miniatures, and with links for sheet music I can even try to apply my extremely limited pianistic capabilities to them.

By the way, I visited Ljubljana a couple of years ago but found it quite difficult to get any music by Slovenian composers. It seemed to me they generally thought Tartini their strongest musical card. But I may of course have gone to the wrong places.

Chant d'automne - lyrical symphonic poem
in the vid the audio is used as background music for a story 'Svinjski pastir postane španski kralj' (Swineherd becomes king of Spain). Just try to focus on the music, and ignore the narrator. The music fits the video's lenght

I have found another recording of Benjamin Ipavec's Waltz for Piano, on the pages of Knjižnica Šentjur (SaintGeorge Library), and the scan of it's manuscript too. Click here to go to the page (in English).
