Lucijan Marija Škerjanc (December 17, 1900 – February 27, 1973) was a Slovene composer, born in Graz. He studied in Laibach (Ljubljana), Prague, Vienna, Paris and Basel.
His style reflected late romanticism with qualities of expressionism and impressionism in his pieces, often with a hyperbolic artistic temperament, juxtaposing the dark against melodic phrases in his music.

My local uni has all of Skerjanc's symphonies and several other works in score (republished/edited in the Skerjanc collected edition) in score (_except_ for no.5, which is the one of his symphonies which I have a recording of- I think it's the one that was uploaded here, awhile back. I also have a harp concerto of his someone sent me once, from a BBC re-broadcast I think.) As to whether individual works of his or his ethos in general fit within this forum's redefined orbit* -- well, anyway, not up to me.
