Nowowiejski: The Prodigal Son

Thank you for this exciting discovery!  Thanks to Allan for preparing the booklet. I missed the Polish Radio broadcast and thus also missed specific information about the piece.
I have just found in an old book on Nowowiejski that he sent the oratorio for the Meyerbeer Award in 1902. In accordance with the status of the competition he presented three compositions: oratorio, Romantic Overture and Fugue for 8 voices Choir and orchestra. He won the financial award and thanks to that maintained 18 month tour over germany, Italy, France and Belgium.
