Hello dear friends,

Not sure if this merits a new thread. but I came across this lovely piece by Jaques-Dalcroze on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgcrLL62C5c for violin and piano. I'm having the hardest time identifying what's the op. number  or if it's part of a larger work?  ultimately I want to figure  if this piece has been released in a recording already, because I want to have it! such a beautiful piece. Thank you all, any help will be appriciated!

Will find out if you give me a couple of days time. Will have to consult the Jaques-Dalcroze Estate. But, as far as I know, there is no recording.

Thank you so much Hadrianus.. Much appreciated!

There's a recording - also on youtube. Charming piece, a great find.

4 Danses frivoles pour violon et piano (no. 1: Modéré et bien calme). Composed in 1924. Can't seem to find any Opus number for this work.

Oh dear! Sorry about that: of course I have this recording too, but I feel very dizzy and not myself these days - as a consequence of strong antibiotics I have to take due to a very serious bacterial infection :-(
...
Now I even find an old UC posting of mine - recommending this very CD!
