Son of the Eduard (Mendelssohn's  friend), wrote in late-Romantic style. I like very much his music. orchestral works in Sterling, chamber music in Audite label. Orchestral works by him were premiered for Mengelberg, He is one composer very forgotten. But the important is that label with interest in his works.
For If anyone has interest, it's available more piano music by him:

RICHARD FRANCK (1858-1938): 3 Klaverstücke, Op. 1, 4 Klaverstücke, Op. 15, Waldphatasiaen (4 Klavierstücke), Op. 38, Orientalische Skizzen, Op. 48.

Description: You hardcore collectors out there know that Richard is the son of Eduard and that there's lots of Eduard on CD but very little Richard, which is presumably why the newest volume in this series is devoted to the son, who follows in the tradition of Brahms, Grieg and Reinecke.

This is the link in Records International. No one human pianist has performances this works. The present Cd was worked with Sibelius software. Better this to nothing!  The pieces are charming. May be we need 10 or 20 years for one pianist has interest in these Scores. There are a lot of composers (And his works), for rescue!
