Piano Quartets by Johann Wilms on cpo

According to cpo, just released this Tuesday the 16th, a new CD with two piano quartets from early the 19th century by Johann Wilhelm Wilms - see jpc - quartet in F Op.30 and quartet in C Op.22 (the latter, by the way, is available for download in first edition parts over at IMSLP. The F major is on our wishlist ) Based on other music by this composer- some of which I've heard broadcast on Dutch Concertzender from cpo and other recordings - I expect this could be a good release.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Eric. I don't know any of Wilms' chamber music so it's certainly very welcome from my perspective.....
