I'm not sure I agree that the Meridian performances are 'excellent'. They're good, of course, but the string playing seems fuller and more secure on the new release. I'd say the Hyperion is definitely worth a punt.

Why do you say we disagree, do you think they are is a masterworks? I thought you wrote you did not think so. I wrote why even talk about that. I did not call them masterpieces, I said they are very good, nothing more. I would think we are in agreement, unless, of course, I misunderstood what you wrote and you do not think they are very good...if that is the case, then we do disagree.
