I am quoting this from the downloads section:

Symphony (#3) by Lev Abeliovich

The following discussion has been superceded by Holger's comments in the discussion section, where he confirms this is the third, and doubts this was ever released on LP (http://www.unsungcomposers.com/forum/index.php/topic,1197.msg35150.html#msg35150)

The notes I have for this recording indicate some doubt as to whether this was his third.
They state performance by the Belorussian State Symphony Orchestra, with Yuri Yefimov conducting.

According to
http://home.wanadoo.nl/ovar/abeliovich.htm

all four of his symphonies were released (vinyl) on Melodia, with the same orchestra, but with a Kataev conducting.  It is likely this is a transfer from the Melodiya, as I can't hear any indications that this was a radio broadcast.

Any input is welcome.

What I can say for sure is:

This is from the collection of Karl Miller
I am not aware of any digital release of this performance, and ask that if anyone finds out otherwise to please ask me or an admin to remove the following link.

Just wanted to confirm that this is indeed the Sym #3.   I have his Symphony no 3 full score and it follows along precisely.   I believe this was originally a radio broadcast.

Thanks for the clarification. Of course Abeliovich and his symphonies now fall well outside this forum's area of interest. The previous discussion is on one  of our archived boards, which we've retained but are no longer active.
