Interesting if somewhat esoteric program on tonight on Radio Slovenia ARS-3.

The composers listed are predominantly 19th & early 20th Century.

Opera: Mojca Bitenc in Domen Križaj – koncert samospevov ob kulturnem prazniku iz Ljubljane
Sobota ob 19.30 - Pevca bo spremljala Andreja Kosmač, na sporedu pa bodo dela Michla, Jenka, Vilharja, Gerbiča, Ipavca, Simonitija, Lajovca, Škerjanca in Lipovška.

Josip Michl: Nezakonska mati (France Prešeren)

Davorin Jenko: Strunam (France Prešeren)

Fran Serafin Vilhar: Mornar (France Prešeren)

The broadcast consisted of arias and ensembles from the operas of Michl, Jenko, Vilhar, Gerbic, Ipavec, Simoniti, Lajovic, Skerjanc & Liposek.

The music was most attractive - much of it in the Czech style -  and I'm inspired to seek out the complete operas.

Can Christopher and others help  me here?
