My name is Amadeu Corbera-Jaume. I am a musicologist and a lecturer at the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears and the Open Univeristy of Catalonia. A few months ago, I came across with this forum about Cicely Foster.

Cicely Foster lived for many years in Mallorca, my homeland, which is why I have been researching her for some time. I have found some information here in Mallorca, so I wrote an article few years ago about her time in the island.

Welcome to UC, amadeucorbera, and thank you for that interesting post. Do you by any chance know the style of Cicely Foster's music? UC is dedicated to 'unsung' composers and compositions specifically in the Romantic style, and we have yet to establish whether Cicely Foster's music falls into that category.

Just over three years ago I was in touch with Cicely Foster's family and received eight brief scores from them. I do not read music and so cannot offer any opinion on her style. However, I could make these scores available in a shared folder so that a more knowledgeable member could determine whether or not her music is fit for discussion here.
