Jan Krenz (1926-2020)

Conductor/composer Jan Krenz died about two weeks ago. While best known for advocating for his contemporaries  (Polish and otherwise - note his recording of works by Smith and Hoiby on New World Records, for example)  he also conducted and recorded concertos and concertante works (among other things) by Rozycki (not sure if this one was released commercially- ah, Olympia OCD 306...), Kurpinski, Paderewski and Lessel, an opera by Moniuszko, among others...
