New label from EMF

The English Music Festival has announced the launch of its own CD label, EM Records. The first CD, due out sometime in the New Year, is to feature violinist Rupert Luck (a fellow-seeker after unsung repertoire) and pianist Matthew Rickard in violin sonatas by Bliss, Walford Davies (in A major) and York Bowen. Future releases are to include Holst's The Coming of Christ and piano music by Roger Quilter.
