You're right - on both counts. Thieriot must be one of the most prolific yet still unexplored composers of the romantic period. We urgently need some real recordings of his orchestral music.

While I second Alan's sentiment, one of the issues here is also that synthetically sampled solo string instruments are still relatively hard to listen to, unlike the piano. Walter has also uploaded some of Thieriot's piano concertos, and those are surprisingly easy on the ear.
