This is a glorious release - both works are melodically rich, beautifully played and spaciously recorded. An absolute must for all lovers of chamber music in the great classical tradition. This'll be a candidate for my 'Chamber Music Recording of the Year' for certain.

Hats off once again to Oliver Triendl - and his talented colleagues, of course.

Incidentally, CF was born in Lviv.

Oh, definitely another to go on the wants list. Thanks for the notice.  ;)

Reverie

I see he wrote a Piano Concerto, (Op. 12) so an early work. Could be interesting?

Again, I concur with Alan: this is well above average stuff.   You can't go wrong.

Mark Thomas

I've begun with the Quartet which is, as everyone has written, meltingly lovely music. Impeccably played and recorded too; it sounds as if it's as rewarding to play as it is to listen to. Top marks all round.
