Yes, very atmospheric. That's quite an impressive opening. The brasswind does a fine job in grabbing one's attention from the first bar, with the strings then adding the nervous tension, and there was just a hint of a movie soundtrack. I think it's a fine piece. Thanks for drawing attention to it, Alan.

Linked on that page, I also found the longer symphonic poem 'Granada' (1913) an enjoyable piece.
