Members have already noted delays in processing physical CD deliveries at Presto Music. Perhaps you have heard back directly, but I thought I would note here that they have come back to me with the following:

The purchasing team there are:

"working through a big backlog of deliveries and therefore [there] are going to be catalogue holes in unpredictable places until that's finished. They are currently checking how far through we are and will hopefully provide you with an answer soon."

That's interesting. I wonder what's going on to cause such a big backlog? A rush of orders on certain releases or a general supply problem of some sort?

I suspect the latter. I've just has notification of despatch (at last) of a non-mainstream CD which was originally scheduled for release two months ago.

Yes, I would say it's supply problems. It's giving me an excellent opportunity to exercise patience though!
