Klughardt Symphony No.2

A complete set of Woyrsch's symphonies would be very good to have. (Incidentally - and perhaps a topic for another thread - I hope CPO may record the remaining symphonies by August Klughardt. They have given us CDs of 3,4 & 5; so only 1 & 2 are needed to complete the cycle. No. 1 "Lenore" in D minor, Op. 27, has been recorded before by Sterling, on which disk it is called "No. 2", probably in deference to the earlier, but unnumbered "Waldleben" symphony which the composer withdrew, but I know of no recording of the true No. 2 in F minor, Op. 34.)

I'd completely forgotten about the omission of No.2. Thanks for reminding us of it.
