Thanks for noticing this, Alan. Norman's chamber music seems to have been badly neglected by the CD companies, and this is a very welcome disc. I see it's another three weeks before the digital downlaod is available.

Ooc, is there a complete recording of his string quartets or, as seems to me, just a few of them in drips and drabs over the years?... I don't think they're at Stenhammar's level (but then he's something of a favorite of mine) but from what I've heard they do seem to be good...

Recordings of various of Norman's chamber works have come and gone over time. He's not as individual as later Scandinavian composers, but a fine craftsman nevertheless.
