Title: Jadassohn Piano Concerto in C minor
Post by: Lew on Tuesday 28 July 2009, 14:03
Hello everyone.

For those who can receive Classic FM (99.9 - 101.9 FM UK) and would like to form an initial opinion of Jadassohn, his first piano concerto will be broadcast in the programme, 'The Full Works', beginning at 10 pm on Saturday (1st Aug).

I am in the US, but I was curious if many classical stations will play the entire works.  I tend to be an all-or-nothing kind of guy -- whether it's unabridged, or the entire musical work, or the full sporting event (i.e. not highlights).   Or, is this "The Full Works" titled as such because it actually devotes it's time to....well...the full works?

It's one of the few programmes on Classic FM in which you can actually hear a piece of music complete!
