Are we all eagerly awaiting the release of this new volume (http://www.hyperion-records.co.uk/dc.asp?dc=D_CDA67878&vw=dc), despite the outstanding performers?

No. I'm sure it'll be good, but I bought the complete VCs on Fuga Libera last year sometime, so I'm not in the market for repeats...

As an aside, the Fuga Libera set (audio excerpts here...)

...is superb. And at £18.96 for three CDs from Amazon it's a much more sensible buy than the Hyperion.

Not only that, but Hyperion have yet to do the massive Vieuxtemps 3rd.  Wonder what the coupling with that would be?  The 7th?
