I too am looking forward to hearing more Schwarz-Schilling after enjoying the previous Naxos release of his music :)

Thanks, Morten, for the Youtube links. What unusual and beautiful music the VC contains - wonderful, profound stuff. This will be a must-buy for me.

This music has an essential nobility of utterance, an aristocratic purity and beauty which makes one regret once again the appalling damage done by the whole "Darmstadt school" in for so long obliterating proper recognition of those German composers of the immediate pre-war period and those of the decades after 1945 who did not subscribe to the apparent notion that the German musical tradition should be consigned to the bonfire and replaced wholesale by advanced modernism :(
