Title: Gernsheim in concert
Post by: eschiss1 on Wednesday 16 May 2012, 06:19
I notice that 2 songs by Gernsheim are showing up in a concert mostly devoted to those great friends (not of each other) Brahms and Wolf, in Amsterdam next April- see eg this announcement (http://www.bachtrack.com/find-a-concert/what/composer=10725-gernsheim). Well, it's something anyway (and if he was at least as good a song composer as in some other media, maybe more.)

Some of you may already know this recording but for those who don't I have provided a link in the downloads section to a concert recording of Gernsheim's cantata Agrippina. The link is not a download link but forwards you to the relevant page at classical-music-online.net.

Thanks for the tip.  But waiting three hours for a listen or a download just doesn't cut it for me......

If I were a little more patient, I'd download it and put it up on MediaFire....

I've just done it myself. You can find the new link at the original post.
