There are also three operas and much more choral music. The Portuguese Music Centre offering this work list: http://mic.pt/dispatcher?where=2&what=2&type=2&show=2&pessoa_id=145&lang=PT (http://mic.pt/dispatcher?where=2&what=2&type=2&show=2&pessoa_id=145&lang=PT) that lists them all, but honestly I do not always understand what type of works the vocal/chorus plus orchestra are. Cantatas, orchestral songs? :-\ Perhaps someone can clarify that. As to the film music, I understand that only A Cruz de Ferro from 1965 exists as an independent score?
Aaarghhh ::)
Ok......very much, back to the drawing board :-[ :-[
I have-I hope-never before fallen into quite such egregious error ::)
I have completely re-done the catalogue and apologise profusely for the earlier version :-[
Many thanks to Christo for pointing me in the correct direction :)
The Portugese Music Research and Information Centre information is not completely accurate in so far as there are a few confusions with opus numbers(the Sinfonietta, Symphony No.5 and Symphony No.6 are given a variety of different opus numbers or sometimes the same number ::)). There will therefore still be one or two mistakes in that area but the catalogue is now much more comprehensive :)
