Toccata Classics will be bringing out Volume 2 of their David Matthews String Quartets series featuring String Quartets 5-7. David Matthews is one of the most appoachable living composers and anyone who enjoys well-crafted, tonal 20th century music should put this release on their want list. Another winner from Toccata-Thank you Martin Anderson!

As a matter of fact Volume 2 contained quartets 5 and 12 (from 1984 and 2009-10 respectively), and it was released at the start of July.

Indeed, thank you Martin Anderson, Toccata, and the Kreutzer Quartet.
