Caroline Reinagle nee Orger Born 1.5.1817 London - Died 11 March 1892 Tiverton, Devon, England
Her father was Dr Thomas Orger and her mother, was Mary Ann Orger a comic actress. Caroline initially trained as a pianist. She married Alexander Reinagle, composer and organist in 1846. For most of her adult life she lived in Oxford, working as a piano teacher.

Piano Concerto 1842 - Now presumed lost. This was published in 1842. Caroline gave a performance of it at the Hanover Square Rooms in London.

Sadly most of her works are lost, most likely when she gave up her home in Oxford, to live with cousins in Devon.
Apart from one bequest, she left her entire estate valued at £9,036 to her nephew Thomas Orger Lazenby.
