I have discovered that Prof. Wolfgang Müller-Steinbach's orchestration of Draeseke's Violin Concerto in E minor has now been published by Florian Noetzel Verlage of Wilhelmshaven, Germany. This is extremely exciting news and I am currently in the midst of trying to get hold of a copy. Apparently the parts are available for hire.
In fact the publication date turns out to be August. Never mind - gives us time to pursue a possible soloist...
I'll do it.
Really? Wonderful! What about an orchestra and conductor?
