I don't know if it's a new CD but there is an interesting recording of Vorisek's Violin Sonata, opus 5 and other chamber works on the PraGa digital label. Interesting stuff, IMHO, and quite into the romantic era. At least, more than I had anticipated.

If it's the recording I think it is, I recall a positive review of it some years back in Fanfare by Jerry Dubins. (I don't by any means always agree with him, and haven't heard this recording, but I know I like the works by Vorisek I've heard, including the G major/minor violin sonata and others...) The CD was released 2004, recorded in Prague December 2003. Some of the works on the disc have been recorded before, though, so you might be referring to another recording. (And hopefully since, of course...)
