Has anyone ever come across this curiosity by Tenerife-born composer Teobaldo Power (1848-1884)?>>

This symphony along with others from contemporaries such as Ossavarry, Rodriguez y Molina, Valle, Poujol et al. has been available for several years from Trito which specialises in Spanish music. Well worth a browse of their website!
I occasionally order from Trito, but I'd never spotted this before.
There are 57+ CDs in the RALS Project ( Fonteca: La creacion musical en Canarios) which are listed on the website of El Museo Canario.
They used to be available from Trito - in fact, Peter Conole and I ordered several of them a few years back.
I seem to recall that they were later offered at discount prices and then were to be found on a few blogger sites.
If they are now unavailable, you are welcome to copies.
Very kind. I'll do some interweb digging...
I would like to buy this Symphony, and, indeed, any others of his contemporaries which were mentioned in this thread. Can anyone kindly direct me to the link, please?

Thank you. I have asked Marc at trito.es whether he still stocks any of the RALS Project CDs (I suspect he doesn´t but it´s worth a try). I can´t see any mechanism for buying them directly from the Museum, but that may be down to internet ineptitude on my account. Will report back when I hear from Marc.
Marc at trito.es still stocks a fair number of the RALS Project, but ,sadly, not the five ones I wanted . If anyone has copies of the Teobaldo Power and the Guijou Symphonies to spare, I would love to purchase them as I don´t think I can obtain them from the Museum directly
I was wrong.
I have been able to order all five of the CDs ( Nos 10,18,25,35,and 50, including the Teobaldo Power and the Guigou Symphonies) directly from the Museum. They are all in stock. For a remarkable price of 5 euros each plus shipping ( which ,in my case, was only a further 6 euros).

What a delight. Nothing of great depth, but writing something nonetheless delightful and not superficial – not an easy task and well done IMO.
I understand that the youtube upload may be removed shortly, as it is a commercial recording, with plenty of CDs in stock. I am currently in correspondence about this with the originator of the upload.
Pleased to report that the YouTube upload has been taken down.
